Grammar and Usage Review

Effective writing is a crucial skill needed for success in both college and career. The SAT writing section is designed to assess the writing skills you have developed both in and out of school and is composed of two sections: an essay and multiple-choice questions. The multiple-choice questions will address grammar, usage, paragraph organization, and multi-paragraph coherence. The best way to improve your writing is to read interesting, challenging material, but you should also review the rules of Standard English in order to prepare for the writing section.
